Sturdy Yet Flexible: The Galco Dual Position Phoenix Holster

Good things come from Chicago. OpticsPlanet-- for one, some of the world's best pizza and hot dogs, Buddy Guy, and another good thing to start out in Chicago was Galco Gunleather! It began in 1969 as a small family business created by Richard N. Gallagher (though the company was then known as The Original Jackass Leather Company). Years went by and the name and location changed, but many innovative, quality designs and a good deal of Miami Vice-inspired fame later, and Galco is still producing unrivalled holsters, rigs, and more (albeit in Phoenix now). Don't get me wrong! Phoenix is a great city too, and I imagine it is responsible for the name of one of Galco's particularly excellent holsters. I'm talking about a favorite holster of my buddy Steve (a true connoisseur); the Galco Dual Position Phoenix.

The
Dual Position Phoenix is an attractive, superb sportsman's holster that can be used either strong side or crossdraw, with two tension screw adjustments for a custom fit to your handgun. The Galco Gunleather Dual Position Phoenix is made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers and fits belts up to 1 3/4". In the tradition of superior, quality-made, handcrafted Galco holsters, the Dual Position Phoenix is made from premium Galco tan saddle leather lined with silicone suede, and is available in right and left hand designs. The Dual Position Phoenix can be easily readjusted to the owner's preference, and offers exceptional comfort with stitched sight rails to protect the leather and sights, as well as a reinforced thumb break with covered snap for security in the brush and the essential swift draw. Available options for the Dual Position Phoenix are several Smith & Wesson and Colt molds, and the Ruger P89 mold.
